After selling my house in WA, the leftover from the sale had been burning a hole in my pocket and I’d been desperately looking to buy myself a little home for my daughter and I, in all corners of the globe, but trying to mostly focus on somewhere in Australia. Feeling frustrated, jaded and exhausted with the whole property market circus, confused where my life was heading with parenting arrangements and an unpredictable ex, I was in a mental shit storm of what to do next, where to live, where to direct my life. I needed to make some massive life choices, and the consequences of fucking it up felt much more serious than ever, and it was doing my head in trying to come up with a pragmatic life plan. I was done with deliberating over wishy washy pros and cons lists. I needed a firm yet gentle slap across the face.
Enter Bo. Having used her coaching before, I felt like I really needed her advice again.
After listening to my story with empathy and understanding, she was able to get a gauge of the complexities that were restricting me from being able to move forward in my life. Then we brainstormed a bit and she helped me come up with a plan. What I really love is how she has this amazing ability to cut through all the bullshit and get to the nitty gritty, and then build from there.
So we came up with a plan together, that was tailored to what I needed most, not particularly what I desired, but what I NEEDED. She gave me the contacts in my area to get me cracking on the path to buying property in the area, which I’m extremely grateful. It’s no easy feat getting a single mum on the pension a mortgage. I’m not saying she pulled a rabbit out of a hat, but without her help, I’d still be sitting here biting my nails, still wondering where the fuck my life is heading. Where will I be living in six months style situation. We’d actually planned to have a few more sessions together, but I was so gung ho and confident after our session, I went out and put an offer in on a property before we had a chance. Next time I’m not going to hesitate for so bloody long!
